Celebrate a Unified Jerusalem, Capital of Israel

From 1948 til 1967 the city of Jerusalem was divided between Israel and the nation of TransJordan. Jordan had illegally attacked Israel on the day of her birth and then illegally occupied the city of Jerusalem for 19 years. During those years, the Jordanians ethnically cleansed the old city of Jerusalem of her majority Jewish population and destroyed every synagogue in the old city. They also desecrated Judaism’s holiest site where Jews are allowed to pray, the Kotel Ha Maariv or the Western Wall.

Today the synagogues and the Jewish quarter have been restored, along with the Western Wall Plaza.

Churches are open to all and the Temple Mount, along with the Al-Aqsa mosque is controlled by the Moslem Waqf.

All who wish to do no harm and respect others right to worship freely are welcome.

The world needs to also remember that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of the state of Israel. It is the heritage of the Jewish people. Jews pray facing Jerusalem and Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Torah. When the world attacks our right to Jerusalem, it is just another way to try to destroy the Jewish people.

The Jewish people have survived every civilization that the world has created. These empires are gone yet the Jewish people are still here. We will survive the present haters as well.
